- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 Small onions (diced)
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and onion and cook, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.
Onions take at least 10 minutes to brown! If a recipe calls for you to brown the onions in less than that time…keep cooking. You can see when they are brown, right? I add this step to many of my dishes that call for sauteed garlic and onion. I brown them, set them aside and add them back later. This gives a great depth of flavor to any dish!
BTW – the pic above is exactly 10 minutes…I used a timer for you!
