Korean Spiced Walnuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Gochujang
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cups walnut halves

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the egg white until frothy.
  4. In a small bowl whisk together the gochujang, soy sauce and sugar.
  5. Add the walnuts and toss to combine.
  6. Spread the nuts in an even layer on the baking sheet in an even layer and bake for about 30 minutes, gently stirring once, until browned.
  7. Remove from oven and let the nuts sit on the baking sheet to cool.
  8. Enjoy!
