Diane’s 10-Minute Onions & Garlic

1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 small onions; diced

Step-by-Step Directions:

  1. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and onion and cook, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.
  3. Enjoy!

Onions take at least 10 minutes to brown! If a recipe calls for you to brown the onions in less than that time…keep cooking. You can see when they are brown, right? I add this step to many of my dishes that call for sauteed garlic and onion. I brown them, set them aside and add them back later. This gives a great depth of flavor to any dish!
